What You Should Do At The Dentist

We have talked about what not to do at the dentist, but allow us to switch gears and talk about what you should do at the dentist.

1. Tell The Truth

Because you aren’t fooling anyone when you swear up and down that you are flossing regularly when you haven’t really done so in ages. Honesty will only streamline the process and can even speed up examinations and procedures, in some cases!

2. Mention Any New Symptoms Or Concerns

No matter how silly or strange, your dental team wants to know. As we constantly say, it is better to be safe than sorry. So feel free to bring up any new bumps, sensations or discolorations. (Same goes for medications, too.)

3. Schedule Your Next Appointment

Think ahead. This will help you to stay on top of your dental health, too!

Thoughts? We would love to hear them!
